Truth and fact are words that are overused. There is, in fact, very little truth in this world (pun intended!). There are a couple of universal facts, like the Law of Attraction, which states that we receive back what we give out. Facts such as our being conscious creator spiritual beings that have bodies. The rest of what we think are facts or truthes are just our own personal perceptions coming from our inner guidance systems. We have access to our own personal truthes, through our inner guidance systems. We each have an inner voice, or a feeling of what resonates with us or not, what feels right to us or not, and what makes us feel good and what doesn't. Everyone's guidance systems are different because they are designed to lead us on our own unique life paths. Therefore what is fact or truth for one, is not the truth for another. Some examples: Joe is a butcher. He grew up loving eating meat, it feels good to him, his body feels good after eating meat. If he were to refrain from eating meat he would feel weak, not so good, not so strong - his body would let him know that what he was doing in that moment was not aligned with his truth. Joe believes that it is right to eat meat and that humans should eat meat. Joe has listened to his guidance system very well - his spirit wanted him to be a butcher, this is his passion, he is also learning about respecting animals, killing animals in a respectful way and about not wasting an animal. There is plenty of spiritual growth on his path and his path is right for him. Joe will experience happiness and health in his life if he stays true to himself, does not believe those who would tell him he was wrong, and does not try to impose his truth onto others. Mary is a Naturopath. She decided to be vegetarian in her teenage years, it felt good to her. In her 20's she decided to be a vegan. Her body feels good on this diet, it is aligned with how she feels about animals, her body agrees with her alignment as does her spirit. Mary beleives that it is right to eat only plants and that this is the right diet for human beings. Mary listened to her guidance system very well - her spirit wanted her to be a Naturopath, that is her passion, she is also learning more about how to be really healthy on a vegan diet, and how to balance other people's vegan diets. She is also learning how foods can be medicine and helping people who want to make that same choice, to do it with ease. There is plenty of spiritual growth for her and her path is right for her. Mary will experience happiness and health in her life if she stays true to herself, does not believe those who would tell her she was wrong, and does not try to impose her truth onto others. The trouble starts when we don't accept that we are all right, alright? Mary could start to feel resistance to her path, she could feel insecure in it because others don't agree with her, she could think that if she applies enough pressure to others that they will learn THE truth that she has learned. I think we have all met angry vegans like this! Instead of healing her self-doubt and becoming more confident in herself, she believes that she can get confidence from outside of herself by having others validate her rightness. This story ends in misery. Likewise, Joe could start to feel resistance to his path, he could feel insecure that he will lose his livelihood and passion if too many people believe Mary. He could think that if he applies enough pressure to others that they will learn THE truth that he has learned. I think we've all seen those advertisements trying to tell us that we should all eat meat. So instead of Joe finding the security within himself and his friends around him, who will always love eating meat, he wants to find the security by getting validation from others who don't agree with him. This story ends in the closing down of his shop. Even scientists cannot escape the law of attraction and their own inner guidance systems: Bob is passionate about global warming and in proving it so that he can do something about the environmental concerns that he has. Bob is listening to his guidance system, his spirit wanted him to learn all about the environment so that he could make Earth an easier place to live in for the majority. The experiments and tests that he does will always confirm that global warming exists because the universe must give him like-energy back (Unless he is doubtful, of course). The problem occurs when he tries to convince Alice of this. Alice is also a scientist, her passion is power, she loves to find out ways to generate power from materials and generate new expansion in that area. Alice is listening to her guidance system, her spirit wants her to investigate power sources so that she can make other's amazing creations happen with that power. The experiments and tests that she does will always confirm that global warming doesn't exist because it is not aligned with her and the universe can only give her esxperiences that are aligned with her. Problems start if Alice tries to convince Bob of her rightness. And parents: George walks down the street with his daughter, she's eating an ice pop and she asks her dad what she should do with the wrapper. George tells her that she should put it in the bin. He values clean and tidy streets and wants to teach his daughter the same values. He feels that he is teaching her something that can only be perceived as right. Billy walks down the street with his son, he's eating an ice pop and he asks his dad what he should do with the wrapper. Billy tells him to throw it on the ground. Billy is unemployed, most of his friends are unemployed too, they all struggle to get by. He explains to his son that if the streets are clean then the council will not employ people like his friend Andy to pick up litter and then Andy would be out of a job and struggling again. Billy values employment and wants to teach his son the same values. He feels that he is teaching him something that can only be perceived as right. Everyone bases their point of view through their guidance system filters and their value systems. We could all accept that no matter what we are perceiving somebody else will be experiencing something completely different. There is no wrong and no right, just personal wrongs and rights, personal alignment or non-alignment. There are no correct and incorrect values. There is no one true spiritual path and false paths. There is no one true religion or faith. There is only perception and that is what makes us truly incredible creator beings! Leave your comments below.
