 Introducing Holly Signorelli, customer of around 5 years, who has recently published her book The Secret to Wealth: How to change your money story & claim the abundance that is rightfully yours! I read it a few months ago & let the lessons in it play themselves out in my own life. I want to share this book & her wonderful perspective with you all in this interview. Enjoy! Hi Holly, firstly thank you for writing this book. Money seems to be a big problem for so many people, it seems to be a very difficult subject to master for many people so I appreciate everyone who is sharing their money wisdom to help us all to get in alignment with this wonderful resource that is money. I especially loved your practical & spiritual approach mix, it spoke to me being a very practical spiritual person myself! What inspired you to write the book in this way? My first book was created to show people how to manage their money, during the 2008 saga with the banks and so many people losing their house and jobs. This time I really wanted to inspire people in a very different way, so I wrote the book as if I was talking to my best friend. I had so many downloads in this book and sometimes didn’t even remember writing them! Most of all money is such a big issue globally and I’ve found that about 90% of the population has money issues, even if they have a lot of money. Most people don’t understand that money is a vibration just like anything else. And how you talk about money and feel about it, is what you will get out of it. You sent me a copy of the book when I was in the process of falling in love & I didn’t get a chance to read it until I had just committed myself to being in that relationship. It was very interesting timing for me, because my finances had just taken a downward turn, which has always happened to me throughout my life whenever I get into a relationship, I can literally go from a great monthly income to $0. So when I read “I’ve never seen a client fall deeply in love without it affecting their bank accounts on a great level.” that chapter stopped me in my tracks & made me question this pattern that I had going on. To me that was the most impactful chapter of your book & a few months later things have turned around for me as I’ve become settled in the relationship. I, like you, had been picking the wrong men, the men who hadn’t been able to love me properly or support me either & it affected my income drastically. My relationship is very different this time. Can you share a little of your relationship/money journey with us here & about how love changes everything? Oh yes! I’ve always been able to make a good living, but in my late 20’s and early 30’s I was in long relationships with very wealthy men. I still always paid my own bills, but they would pay for any trips or going out to eat. After six years of being together in one relationship, I started to really get bigger money with my career, and that’s when he dumped me out of know where! The person that he left me for didn’t really make much money, and I realized that he wanted to be in control of the relationship. This is something I see a lot, where the husband makes the income and gives the wife a small amount of money to be in control. Fortunately, the millennials are changing that. Our kids are 24-25 and with their relationships they both pay or take turns. I love that! The chapter on how guilt & fear hold you back resonated me on a deep level too, because most of my work is in helping people to release the fear & guilt that holds them back from everything they want in life, not just the money. I found in myself that I was very judgmental of myself around money, so I was making myself feel guilty for not doing as well as my harsh inner parent thought I should be! And the guilt was the very thing keeping me from what I really wanted. It seems to be a never ending process, uncovering new fears, old guilts, & releasing them to move to the next financial or success level. Have you found that personally? Yes, I think we all of these moments where we judge, but I’ve really gotten better about that. I know that when I judge someone, that I have done it as well, even if it was in the past. We are all working through the planet and we all have made mistakes. I do think that guilt is the worst one, because it keeps you from moving forward. Forgiveness is the key here, especially with the new energies now. I loved the way you were so blunt in the feeling of lack chapter lol, lack causes overspending, you are so right! I’ve seen in my clients that a lack perspective causes behaviour that turns away what people really want, from being with the wrong kind of partner to blatantly saying no to what they really want even when it is offered right to them. I can look back in my business & see where I had turned away from what was working, or even just stopped doing something that was working, because of this lack perspective. It took me many years to stop emotionally reacting to the regular downturns in business & even now I have to work at this, at not reacting to lack, not letting it take over my consciousness. What do you do to emotionally ride out those income waves? I see this a lot in my company as a CPA. When a person feels like there isn’t enough money, they will (not realizing) buy something they really want because they believe that there is no other way. Honestly I’ve done that myself in the past, and had to work through that as well. I have a certification of the Archetypes of money and on my profile I’m a Maverick. This is typically someone that takes big risks. So two times in my life, I’ve done that and created big losses. I had to work through that as well. Mavericks can get big gains and also big losses, so now I’m careful about those opportunities. I'm a maverick too, I totally understand. Frustration has never been a huge problem for me, I value my freedom above everything so I never work too hard anymore, I tend to laziness more than overwork, however, disappointment is the emotion that takes me over when I’m not paying attention. It’s amazing how much that feeling manifests in more disappointing things fast! I have to convince myself to be satisfied with my current financial situation instead. What is the emotion that you reach for with your finances? I can definitely understand that. In 2016 I sold my company to change my model, and I misread part of the contract. The people that bought it were not like me, they weren’t personable and I only got half of what I was supposed to get. When that happened I fully surrendered to my higher self and I started to get ideas and ways to get the clients I really wanted. 2016 was a hard year, but the next year I had the company that I really wanted, I went virtually and have more staff. This last year, I really had standards with my company and my profit ratio was almost 70%. My clients are super happy because they are being taken care of. You wrote about judgement, which is such a window of opportunity for self-awareness. We judge in others what we judge in ourselves, so this can be very eye opening when it comes to finances. I’ve judged people for being irresponsible with their money, when I’ve been doing the exact same thing! I see a lot of people judging the rich for hoarding, or not spending in the right way, or for not giving in the right way. I don’t have this judgment myself, I see the great things that rich people are doing in the world & I appreciate what they have done for the world to receive the wealth they have. What is a common judgement that you witness that holds money away from your clients? One of the Archetypes is the accumulator. This is someone who has money but doesn’t think they have enough. They leave it in the bank and don’t enjoy using it for fun. I’ve had to let go of clients that are like this because they will always pay late, or try to negotiate. I don’t charge people more if they have more money, so it’s not fair for the other clients. So yes, I do feel sometimes a judgement, but I go back to the fact that all of us make bad money decision, including me! On the other side you have the Celebrity, which is the spender. Those enjoy all of the clothes, cars and other things that make them feel alive! It great to have things but it’s best to have money in the bank. Money is really about balance. Balance yes! Off that money rollercoaster & finding balance. The easiest business to do is the one that is fun & you love, isn’t it? I’ve recently started helping my partner out in his business, I love his business, I use his business every day for fun, it is pure fun for me to do the marketing for it, & because it’s so much fun to do it & to work with him on it, the business is sky rocketing. I love my business, but his, wow, it’s literally play every day, that’s all we do, play, play with people who come along. My own business is fun too, I get to play with higher selves, I get the fun of the serendipity that brings people to my services. There’s this belief that seriousness is how business is done, you know, men in grey suits, serious faces, no fun to be had here, but it goes against the way the universe works. What’s fun about your business for you? When I went virtual, it was the best! No more being in traffic, and if I’m done at 2 I’m done for the day. I think more and more people are going online for that reason. Also the people that I hire have flex hours and they are all very good at what they do. When you hire the right employees and allow flex hours then your staff will do anything for you. Also they don’t need 40 hours, they decide how many hours they want, and I give them work based on that. In fact right now I’m in the Dominican Republic and the girls are taking care of the clients for me. I loved your chapter on receiving. Receiving has been one of my life’s biggest challenges. I didn’t feel safe to receive. It was actually easier for me to receive pain, abuse or negativity than it was to receive love, money or appreciation. But I persisted in pursuing being able to receive, now I love receiving. I know many of my clients have found it difficult to open up to receiving too. Do you have any advice for them? Especially with money, receiving it is the key. The energies on the planet are different now, and the way to receive money is to realize that money is available to everyone, and it is a vibration. Nowadays you have to lock into the reality that you are a strong and powerful being, and that (just like Abraham-Hicks says) you always get what you want, if you really believe that you receive. It’s the resistance that keeps us from it. Also, always talk about money as if you already have it. I do this all the time, not just for money but also opportunities in life. That is great advice, thank you. Another thing I have noticed is that what we complain about instead of appreciate tends to stay out of our experience, so stopping the complaining about money & not having enough of it, but appreciating what we do have instead really makes a big difference fast! One thing I have recently discovered is the importance of the feeling of desire. So many people don’t even allow themselves to feel the desire for lots of money, maybe they have been convinced that it’s evil, or that they shouldn’t desire it, I even see a lot of memes on Facebook that affirm these beliefs that money itself or wanting it is somehow wrong. Yet, I know that the universe gives us what we desire & we have to really feel that desire for it. There’s so many great things we can do with money & if nothing else, less stress from not having enough money should be a good reason for anyone to desire more of it! Have you ever struggled with feeling the desire for money? I was very lucky to be born into a family that never had money issues. We had only one income, and we had 4 kids and 44 foster kids! We were not wealthy but we had everything that we needed. I worked since I was 14 because I wanted designer jeans that my parents couldn’t afford, and I felt empowered that I was able to create my own money. That’s why I want to change the way that people thank about money, to enjoy it, to give, to save, to live, to travel. We did not come here to be stagnant. We came here to create, and we have all the tools inside of us. So just know that you are a Sorceress and it is your birthright to create anything you want, including money!
