Breakdown or Breakthrough?

Breakdown or breakthrough: they both lead to the same place.

There comes a point in everyone's life when we can not continue doing the same things, achieving the same results and lacking the results that we really want.

Once that limit is reached, when the drawbacks of what you are experiencing far out number the benefits, change must happen.

Some people numb themselves to their discontentment, with alcohol, drugs, food, or other destructive patterns. The brave amongst us choose to face this discontent and either breakdown or breakthrough.

Breakthrough is the more empowering choice of the two, but they both actually lead to the same outcome.

A breakdown occurs when you have no more to give, when you have tried everything, when you have struggled and when you cannot find an answer or a way out. Breaking down is saying enough is enough I will not carry on along this path, it's a form of surrender. Surrender leads to a spiritual experience. When you surrender your higher self and your spiritual team can get involved in order to help you and show you the way out of your chains. A breakdown leads to a breakthrough.

A breakthrough occurs when you are so discontented that you actively seek a solution. It comes from a place of knowing that you are supported by your higher self and your spiritual team. It can come from a place of trusting someone else to help you through the breakthrough process. The breakthrough is the more empowered choice because when you actively seek solutions from a place of high energy, you will find those solutions, your higher self and your spiritual team will get involved in order to show you the way out of your discontent.

Both a breakdown and a breakthrough lead to a spiritual awakening and therefore to solutions. However, both have their pitfalls. You could judge yourself for your breakdown and block the solution from finding you. You could become attached to one truth that you find in a breakthrough and miss that there are deeper truths to be found in order to keep moving forward and growing in life.

It's important to know that whether you choose to breakdown or to breakthrough you are hearing the calling of your higher self and all is in perfection.
