At first glance "losing weight" and "releasing weight" seem to be the same thing, but do they have the same energy about them and therefore do they have the same effect according to the law of attraction? The answer is no, not at all. So we know from the law of attraction that any focus on lack brings more lack towards you, whereas focusing on abundance brings abundance towards you. Applying the law of attraction to your weight or body shape and size it is important to focus on where you want to be, whilst being good with where you are right now and the journey that will take you from where you are to where you want to be. When you focus on "weight loss" you are focusing on the lack, you are trying to lose something and when we lose something we tend to find it again once our attention is elsewhere! Think about this, when you are trying to find something that you believe is lost, it is so hard to find, it's impossible. But when you have let go of it, suddenly it turns up, often in a place where you had looked but you couldn't see it, because you believed it lost. When attention is taken away from the "losing" of something it is found again - this is the metaphysical reason that so many people lose weight just to regain it straight back once their attention is on something else. Whereas when you focus on "releasing weight" you are focusing on letting go of the control of it, letting go for good what no longer serves you.
