Are we conscious creators with free will or do we have a pre-fated destiny?

Do you believe in destiny?

I have been divided on it. I know my power as a conscious creator, I can manifest what I focus on, I have plenty of evidence of that. But then at some points in my life I have been sidetracked from my focus, seemingly by my higher self, to something that is perfect for me, that I hadn't realised, wasn't focused on, hadn't consciously asked for,...

So what's going on here? Are we conscious creators with free will or do we have a pre-fated destiny?

This is what my higher self has to say about it:

Every conscious thought, wish or desire that you have has creative potential, depending on whether you will allow it to manifest or not.

​Every unconscious thought, wish or desire that you have also has creative potential, again, depending on whether you will allow it to manifest or not. Unconscious thoughts, wishes & desires come about through experiencing something that you either like or don't like or a mixture of the two, but without consciously thinking about it, you make a preference choice. For example, you try a ham, mustard & pickle sandwich for the first time & you don't particularly like the mustard. You don't think about it, you don't make a wish about it, you don't desire mustard-less food, it's just an unconscious preference that is noted. Now you can not allow that unconscious desire for mustard-less food in by going on & on about how you hate mustard on things, which will cause chefs to accidentally put mustard on your food many times over.

So we are conscious & unconscious creators, our consciousness being the power behind the creations but also the gatekeeper as to what we will allow in or not. Our gatekeeper is our consciousness right now, we are either battling life or flowing with it, we are either focused on what we love & feeling good, or we are focused on what we hate & feeling bad. One allows what we want in, the other holds it away because we are not being a match to it.

​Destiny is what our higher selves get really excited about, I can literally feel it when I give my readings, if something is about destiny the energy is heightened, I get full body tingles as I deliver the information in the reading, it's a delicious feeling.

Destiny is the soup of the heartiest desires we have. To put it another way, anything that your heart really, truly, madly desires, is held dear by your higher self & the whole universe. These heart felt desires build up over our whole lifetime. They are aligned with the core of who we are, so we can't fake it. For example, we can't pretend that getting money-rich is important to us because society says that it should be important to us & it will make us feel more secure, so shouldn't it be important to us(?), when who we are is adventure, love, freedom,... So trying to fake a heart connection with anything or  anybody won't work, neither will trying to deny a true heart connection either. Destiny will always take precedence over any heart-less desires.

So you might think that you are in control, that what you are focusing on today makes all the difference & you are creating with it, & that is kinda true, but mostly it's true, 99% true, as the gatekeeper to your destiny. What you focus on today either aligns you with your destiny or holds you from your destiny. This is why it's so important to follow YOUR heart & not listen to what anyone else thinks you should want. It's why it's so important not to seek out & gather other people's opinions about your life, your decisions, your relationships,...

Your destiny is a combination of a deep desire you had age 4, an idea you had age 7, a heart opening experience you had age 10, a pure hearted relationship desire age 12, a knowledge desire age 15,... and so on. Generally the earlier in life the more we add to our destiny,  because we are more heart centred then & less weighed down by seriousness, judgment, shame, guilt, embarrassment, anxiety, insecurity,... We are more our true selves as children.

​Just the knowledge that you have a destiny, including all of your very favourite things, & is available to you right now, is enough of a focus to align you with that destiny. Then the only work you have to do is to let go of all that isn't in your heart & it will be yours.

Your higher self knows the easiest path to lead you to aligning with your destiny. You can access this wisdom through meditation, regular practice will open you up to the intuitive, inspiration & ideas that come from your higher self, then all you need to do is to follow that path.
